Congratulations on Seoul Urban Sketchers First Exhibition!!

오늘은 전시당번날.

yesterday, preparation for the opening of the first exhibition

We gathered for the preparation of the exhibition at the Dasom Gallery of Songpa Library.

Hanging works we were so happy and pleased how we harvested to that much.

We were encouraged meeting the visitors who came to the library.

We're sure that the exhibits will be successful in many points.

We'll keep sketching for the development of each sketcher,

supporting each other and hoping many beginners to join us.

Namsan is well-known as a celebrated mountain in downtown Seoul. The mountain and surrounding area is a public park maintained by the city government. It is a popular spot for a panoramic view of Seoul. Moreover there are a lot of interesting subjects for sketchers at the change of seasons. I sketched diverse sceneries walking along the Namsan Circular Road halfway up the mountain.

Though it was humid and hot, sketching was worthwhile and amusing always.

Jaeyeon, daughter of KMK, sketched a tree on the spot at Soma Museum of Art in the park, where KMK invited me to see the exhibition of Joseph Beuys on the opening day at the museum thankfully. We had good time together with her cute girl.

At the end of sketchcrawl on June 12, 2011 climbing the Inwang Mountain I arrived at Gwanghwamoon and finished the tour drawing the statue of the general.

초여름 날씨가 너무 좋았습니다.

전날 온 비로 공기가 너무 깨끗하고 도심 한가운데가
숲속처럼 고요하였습니다.

같이 그림그리신 분들도 정동공기처럼 맑아 보였습니다.

Today I sketched at the Sungkyunkwan University, Myungryundong. There were many subjects to sketch including Munmyo Shrine(Confucian shrine) built in 1398. Hope to sketch there together later.

It was a beautiful day of June. We enjoyed the breeze, calm atmosphere of the places.

Yesterday I saw she was trimming the fur of a dog. Though it posed nicely as accustomed, the nurse moved the dog for trimming all body.
