한겨울.. 인사동나들이~~

            오늘은 친구들과 양평으로 놀러(?) 가기로 날 잡아 놓은날..
            최강추위에 화들짝 놀란 우리는 마침 인사1길 컬쳐스페이스
            에서 전시중인 팅가팅가전을 볼 계획이 있었기에 인사동으로
            노선을 급변경했다.
            인사동입구 카페 '오가다'에서 커피를 마시며 기회를 놓칠세라
            급히 2장(장소물색은 창밖풍경이 우선으로 물색 ㅎ) .
            게다가 컬쳐스페이스는 우리를 위한 완벽한 작업실이었다
            체험학습용 이젤에.재료.종이.따뜻한 실내와 근사한 창밖풍경
            관람객들도 자기만의 그림을 그리고...
            최선이 안되어 선택한 차선의 만족..
            세상근심 잠시 내려놓은 춥지만 따뜻했던 하루~~

인천공항 그리기

 일기예보가 많이 추울것이라고 겁을주니 약한 마음에 겁을 잔뜩먹고 영종도에 갔다.

실내에서만 그려서인지 추위는 전혀 느낄새가 없었고 ㅎ

볼거리가 많기는 한데 역시 나의 상상력빈곤으로 남들이 그리는것 따라할수밖에...^^

자리가 명당이라 많은분들이 같은 소재를 택했으리라 생각은 되는데 그러다보니 나같은 초보는 바로 눈에 띄는 단점이...

참, 첼리스트의 옷색깔이 기억이 나지 않아 그냥 제가 좋아하는 핑크로 입혔네요...^^

The Incheon international airport was the good place to urban sketching
Even though it was cold winter, I was able to feel warm.
There was a lot of people, shops, huge structers, etc to draw.
Above all, my interest was in the airplane.
I spent a lot of time sketching and drawing on the charm of the airport.

인천공항은 드로잉하기에 최적의 장소였습니다.
추운 겨울임에도 불구하고 따뜻하게 드로잉할 수 있었으니까요.
그리고 출입국하는 많은 사람들, 거대한 구조물들,
무엇보다 비행기의 매력에 흠뻑빠져 드로잉하는데 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.
이제 곧 내년1월에 2터미널 오픈한다고 하는데 시간되면 한번 더 가보고 싶네요..
오성산 전망대도 시간되면 가봐야겠습니다.. 활주로를 볼 수 있겠지요..

Sketchs Incheon Int'l Airport

                                                                 

             Last Saturday, we had a regular meeting of usk at the 

             Incheon lnt'l Airport 

             It's weekend, I was a little worried there were so many 

             people,  but unexpectedly it was not crowded. 

             As usual ,we had a cup of coffee with my friends, 

             we went up to the lobby on the 4th floor to draw 

             air plains. The 4th floor was like a huge indoor park

             with a number of facilities (theatre, convinces,various 

             types of food court, shoe repair, laundry..etc) and many 

             non tourists were resting and  hanging out around. 

             I realized at first the airport is the place for the citizens 

             especially summer and winter to avoid heat and cool

             I'd like to draw various kinds of plains but unfortunately 

             I could only see 1or2 Korean air plains. 

             Suddenly l felt the desire for traveling, anyway it was 

             It's a good place to sketch in the winter...

                지난 토요일 서울 어반 스케치 정기모임이 인천공항에서 있었다. 

                주말이라 무척 붐빌거라 걱정했는데 예상외로 한산했다.

                언제나처럼 친구들과 커피와 정담을 나눈후 4층 ,비행기를 그리기

                위해 로비로 이동했다. 놀랍게도 4층에는 여행객이 아닌 시민들로

                북적거렸다.여러가지 부대시설과 편의시설, 마치 커다란 실내공원

                같은 느낌이었다. 특히 추운겨울과 뜨거운 여름에 시민들의 휴식처

                로 안성맞춤,스케쳐스에게도 풍부한 소재감과 함께  최적의보온 보

                냉을 제공해 주었다. 

                여러가지 예쁜 비행기를 많이 그리고 싶었는데  대한항공 두어대만

                볼수 있어서 아쉬웠다 .광범위한 공간과 스펙터클한 곡선도 무척

                어려웠다 .또다시 다음 기회로ㅎ~~

I was able to sketch from here and there because it was not so crowded.The weather outside was chilly, but the airport was good enough to take off my coat.I had a lot of materials that I do not usually touch, such as airplanes, I was sad about returning to my daily life.

공항이 넓다보니 포커스를 어디다 맞춰 그려야 할까 고민이 많았다. 스케치를 하러 와서 새로운 공항의 모습을 볼수 있는 시간이었다.첫번째 스케치에서 멍한 시선으로 비행장을 보고 있는 할아버지의 모습에 짠한 마음이 들기도 했다.

또  하나의  새로운 장소를 그려본다는  기대감으로  공항을  찾았습니다.  휴가철만큼은  아니어도  내 외국인들로   붐볐고  워낙  넓다보니 무얼 그려야할지  헤메다  4층에  모여  그리게  되었습니다.
늘 그렇듯이  아쉬움이   남는  스케치였지만 그래도  송년모임을  겸한 스케치에 함께할수있어 
행복한  시간이었습니다.

Incheon International Airport(인천국제공항), located west of Incheon nearby the Seoul Capital Area, is the largest airport in Korea, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. It was a bit cold yesterday, we Seoul usk members met at the lounge of the passenger terminal on the 3rd floor inside the large airport building, and sketched the various spectacular scenes in the crowded passengers.

At first I sketched the large airliner connected to the passenger boarding bridge with the runway in the background looking through the glass window on the 4th floor's lounge. After lunch, I moved to the passenger bridge connected to the subway station and sketched the huge and spectacular airport building over the glass window inside the bridge. By the time we finished sketching, I drew an interior perspective scene leaning over the railing on the 3rd floor.

It was a very exciting and enjoyable sketch time inside the airport despite the cold weather.

공항은 첫 스케치 모임이지만 어반스케치의 으뜸가는 소재입니다.

넓은 공간, 큰 스케일, 복잡하게 얽혀있는 웅대한 구조물과 빛의 율동,

쉴새없는 물동량과 인파들, 각양각색의 언어와 다문화적인 풍물들..

서울어반 스케쳐스의 영역이 원심적으로 확장해가는 좋은 날이였습니다.

It was an excellent choice to have a meet up in the airport under cold weather. We could enjoy good condition for sketching by lots of passengers, great scale of structure of the place and convenience in moving here and there. Temperature inside was warm enough for us to put off thick coats. While other sketchers were drawing big planes I tried to capture inside scenery. It was so broad and big that we couldn't cover all the corners. Therefore we may look forward to having next chance to go there in the future. Hearing nice songs on stage gave pleasure and rest for waiting passengers, which was performed to connect culture and airways. We enjoyed sketching and shared our works in doorway. Thank you all!

요즘 갑자기 추워져서 밖에서 스케치는 엄두를 내기 어렵습니다. 올해가 가기 전에 가진 인천공항 스케치 모임은 다소 먼 것을 제외하고는 완벽한 장소였지 싶습니다. 깨끗하고 넓은 공간과 편리함, 다양한 모습의 인물, 내부 구조등으로 편하게 스케치하였습니다. 다른 분들은 비행기를 그리시는 동안 저는 대합실을 오가며 이런 저런 모습을 담아 보았어요. 워낙 왔다 갔다하기도 수월하지가 않아서 보다 많은 모습을 그리지 못해서 아쉬움을 갖가 돌아왔습니다. 오늘 먼 거리임에도 불구하고 추운 날씨에 공항으로 오신 여러 스케쳐님들께 감사드립니다.

애완견(토리) 스케치

요즘 스케치 소재는 주로 집에서 키우는 강아지다.돌아다니는 통에 대부분 자는 모습이지만 여러가지 도구로 그려볼수 있어 좋다.처음 입양했을때는 서열 5순위 였는데 일년이 지난 지금 1순위로 온 집안을 자기 집으로 생각하며 활개치고 다닌다 .주객이 전도된 격이다.
