Though the weather was not warm, our outings were great. At Seoul station Rian, Susan's friend, joined us too. In spite of her busy working weekdays she was so eager to sketch Seoul, which inspired us so much. She enjoyed Korean food too. We had Korean traditional pancakes even at Gwangjang market, so crowded one. Much thanks for all her generous understanding about Korean culture and people. Hope her to come again soon and to be able to sketch all together!
Thank you so much, Susan, for your pretty presents and drawing too!
Dear BH and YH,
ReplyDeleteI am home in Vancouver, safe and sound. How wonderful to see all of the work you posted on the website documenting my incredible trip to Seoul. Thank you so, so much for showing me the best and sometimes "secret" sketching places around the city. You sure know great indoor sketch locations during the cold weather! I want to thank you for taking such good care of me both for sketching and also eating delicious Korean food. I feel like I understand things Korean so much better now. Seoul is such an exciting city with so much to draw. I hope we have a chance to meet again sometime.
Thanks again for your incredible generosity. You both inspired me so much.
best,
Susan
Wow...It's so nice to hear that you're at home now after weeks' away. Meeting and sketching with you was a great pleasure for both of us too. Though the sketching places were same as before we could draw new ones every time. Above all being with a great sketcher like you inspired us so much. Your deep consideration to communicate well must be appreciated. By your using easy English words helped us understand better. Much thanks again for your pretty and precious presents for painting tools and your drawing which will be kept gratefully. Hope to have chances to meet you and sketch together in the future! :)
