at amusement park

It's spring. So the park was crowded with groups of kids from kindergartens and students of middle and high schools for drawing at park. I tried to sketch at amusement park. Big and colorful roof was set above the steps to make shade for the visitors. I'd like to go there often by the cool shade in summer. (A 4, pencil, pen and watercolor)

the population of the district is very diverse, people openly walk around the streets without anticipating other people's long stares, regardless of their racial and/or religious and/or sexual orientation. love the cultural tolerance.

It was very windy but shiny. Many groups of kindergartners and visitors were there at park. I practiced animal drawing here and there. In cafeteria of Sejong University cross the park I had delicious lunch and sketched the students.

I sksetched the colorful lamps hung on trees celebrating Buddha's Birthday from the bus,

We like to have hot noodle dish on a rainy day. Restaurant was full of customers.

31th World Wide Sketchcrawl

작은 아이가 올림픽공원 안에 있는 소마미술관의 키즈 프로그램을 수강하는 중이라 오전에는 공원에서 시간을 보냈습니다. 나무의 꽃들과 새순의 색들이 어찌나 예쁘던지요!

그리고 오후엔 청량리시장으로 가서 다른 스케쳐분들과 함께 시장 스케치를 몇 장 하고 돌아왔습니다.
청량리시장은 처음 가 봤는데 그렇게 큰 시장일 줄 몰랐어요. 어반스케쳐 모임을 하면서 못 가봤던 서울 구석구석을 구경하는 것 같습니다.
늦게 나간 탓에 얼굴도 못 뵙고 온 분들이 많네요. 새로 오신 분들도 그렇고 정운자 선생님도 그렇구요.

포스팅 늦게 했다고 골 나 계실 것같은 유병화 선생님, 서울문화재단 지원금 땜에 애 많이 쓰셨어요. 감사드려요.

Yesterday I sketched this scene waiting for somebody to meet there. I always feel interest in the scenery with overbridge in roads, which is one of the many characters in urban cities.

For this one I might have to explain a little bit. This isn't surrealism, it's actual scenary if you are nearsighted(badly) and observe the square with bare eyes for a long time. I was wearing sunglasses without prescription, and the people moving around the square wearing colorful outers seemed like flows of bright colors. the flowing dots coming up and down at the upper middle is people on the escalators, and the black hole-ish color absorbing flowing dots are the people constantly coming in/out of the department store. you can also find a few people waiting for someone(dots without trails). It's supposed to be fun just for myself, didn't really thought it's appropriate for the USk blog. But then I read the code of conduct again, seems like it doesn't really violate the rule-capturing what I saw, drew on location, record of the time and place. Thank you ^^
