a church building
This is a sketch of a church located at Bugahyun-dong, Seoul two weeks ago. The building was not big, but the vertical shape was impressive.

buying garlic
Last year I went to Inchon city for sketching. Under Mansuk overpass there was a seller of garlic. It was a season to buy garlic needed for a year. Because it was cool by the shade of the overpass, many villagers gathered to buy them. The garlic was tied by 50 heads. Sunday, July 26, 2009

Dear Heavenly Father,
as I enter my retirement years, help me to see not an ending but a new beginning.For now I haver more of the precious time.
Time to feel the morning breeze,to hear the midday quiet, to see Your radiant sunsets.
To experience a blooming wildflower or a graceful bird in flight.
Time to explore talent and all kinds of interests.
Time to be with people I care about and to meet new people as well.
But most important of all,dear Father,
Time to spend in fellowship with You,talking with you and reading Your holy Word.Grant that I may be blessed with health and a desire to use my wisdom and experience to help others grow.
May these years truly be the most golden of my life, and may they be dedicated to Your glory.Amen.
