We greeted and sketched with Susie and Stephen Kopp from Australia. And new comer, Kim Da-hyung, joined us. The campus was so beautiful and lots of foreign visitors came and took photos.Thankfully Mr. and Mrs. Kopp presented bottles of honey. We enjoyed all day sketching, talking, and seeing participants' great works.

어제 날씨가 너무 좋았어요. 오랫만에 만나 뵌 두분과 즐거운 시간 보냈습니다. 더구나 호주에서 귀한 유기농 꿀까지 8병이나 가져 오셔서 감사한 마음으로 나누었습니다. 어찌나 무겁던지요. 아무 선물도 준비 못해서 송구스러웠어요.

좋은 날에 오랫만에 나오신 분들도 뵈어 더욱 반가왔습니다. 앞으로도 자주 뵙기 바랍니다.

Stephen Kopp who has been sketching with us for years sent a mail with good news (the above one was sold at Easter Show for good amount) missing to sketch with us. The bottom painting looks impressive with the rainy night mood. We congratulate on the great result and share the pleasure with you!

호주에서 한국에 오실때마다 저희와 스케치해오셨던 스테판 콮씨가 메일을 보내쎴어요. 아름다운 그림 두장과 부활절 전시회에서 그림을 파셨다는 좋은 소식과 함께 저희와 같이 그림 그리는 시간을 그리워하신다는 글을 보내셨습니다. 여러해를 함께 해오면서 그 분의 손과 마음을 통하여 서울 풍경을 감상하는 즐거움도 큽니다.

A monk visiting the place asked him to draw on his fan.

The artist drew with acrylics with pleasure and presented it to him.

What a pleasure sketching together at a nice place is always! Today was just like that. I went with my mother after my father's death last Monday. She needed rest and to forget the sorrow for a while. I thank for the kindness of Seoul sketchers and Mr. Mrs. Kopp to my mother. They'll leave Korea within days. Of course we promised to meet and sketch together whenever they come to Korea. Thank you all!

Stephen Kopp who sketched with us last month three times sent photos of his works which he had painted at his studio in Sydney. The sceneries are of our country where he had seen during his stay in Korea. So they look familiarto us. I post three of them. Hope you to enjoy them!

We enjoyed three days' sketching tour with Stephen Kopp in Seoul. In spite of cold weather he showed his energetic passion for painting inspiring us so much. We thank him, his Korean wife Susie and his beautiful daughter for joining us. We hope them to feel satisfied with staying in Korea and look forward to meeting next year again.
