어린이대공원 스케치

9월23일 어린이대공원에서 그린 그림입니다.
어린이들과 가족들의 모습을 많이 그려보고싶었습니다.

                                            A6 크기의 용지에 만년필로 그림.

                      A4크기의 머메이드지에 붓펜으로 그림


회원님들과 함께해서 더 즐거운 하루였습니다.

Yesterday was heyday to sketch the early autumn of Korea. The Children's Grand Park was the best choice to meet up.

 

I passed by the octagonal pavilion where we were to meet and stopped by the monkey's pen.

After lunch, I drew co-sketchers of SUK, I am sorry not to have taken a photo of them.

 

Water jetted from the Big Fountain, and a guitar concert was held near there. I derw it, singing along the concert songs.  There were two caricature drawers and they were very popular. Many customers were waiting their turns and I drew it lastly.

 

BH Yoo prasied my improvement of sketching. I bought some beverage to my co-sketchers joyfully.

I am looking forward to next meet-up.^^

 

어린이는 내일의 주인공

   어린이 대공원에 44년전에 커다란 바위에 새겨놓은 글귀가 인상적입니다.
그 뒤에 높게 솟아오른 나무들과 바위에 얼룩이 그 시간을 알려주고 있습니다.
                               "어린이는 내일의 주인공
                             착하고 씩씩하며 슬기롭게 자라자"
정말 어린이를 바라보면 미소가 절로 나옵니다
어린이들이 부모와 함께있는 풍경은 흐뭇합니다
요즘 펜으로 그릴까 붓으로 그릴까 고민중입니다.
꼭 정해서 그릴 필요는 없으면서도 그리기 전에 아직도 망설여집니다.

It was a very fine day. The park was crowded by increasing family visitors around noon. The park opened on Children's Day, May 5th, 1973 kept being loved by all. It's broad to ca. 530,000 square meters. There locate kinds of animal cages, botanic garden, amusement park, and so on. We can find people walking all around the park for health. 

Though I visit there so often It provides endless subjects to draw. I used 45.5x32.5cm size papers. I tried to play with sketching tools, charcoal, water soluble color pencils, watercolor not to make something good. I found charcoal to work well on this kind of sketchbook. Because I have several volumes which I had bought over 10 years ago, I may use them all out with charcoal. 

Having chance to appreciate all the participants' great works would be a fortune; so we gather enjoying sharing and congratulating for the other sketcher's development. Thank you Andy for the cool drinks after the meetup. We had a nice time after hard work of sketching. Thank you all the participants!

좋은 날씨에 감사했어요. 만나뵈어서 더욱 좋았구요. 어반 스케치해오면서 자신의 그림에 만족하는 동료를 보는 기쁨도 만남에서 비롯되겠지요. 여의나루에서 반나 뵙기 바랍니다.

우리나라 사학의 대표주자 연세대학교에서 모임을 가지고 즐거운 그리기시간을 보냈다

첫걸음, 첫그림

위 그림들은 9월 9일 연세대학교 정문 부근에 위치한 광혜원에서 그린 것이다.  

스케치모임에 처음으로 참여한지라, 유병화 선생님을 따라서 간 곳이 여기다.

 첫인상이 좋아서 오전 오후 내내 이곳에 머물다 왔다.

그림은 A4 크기의 머메이드지에 브러쉬펜으로 그린 후 약간의 채색을 더했다.

Sketches at Starfield Goyang

어제 고양시에 위치한 스타필드 고양에 다녀왔습니다. 디자인은 스타필드 하남과 유사했어요. 워낙 길어서 왔다 갔다 몇번 하니 하루치 운동으로 충분하더군요. 4층에는 골프연습낭도 있었어요. 이곳 저곳 다 돌아 볼 수는 없어서 우선 3층에서 내려다 보고 그려보았습니다. 어려워서 공부가 되었습니다. 점심 후 PK Market에서 바나나 판매하는 젊은이를 그렸어요. 많이 드시라고 여러 조각 권하는 마음이 고운 청년이었어요. 목소리가 좋다고 하니 처음 들어보는 말이라고 기분 좋아하더군요. 카트에 도구를 올려놓고 그리니 아주 편했어요. 통행에 방해가 안되면 이모 저모 그려 볼 수도 있겠더군요. 지하 1층 엘리베이터 앞에 편히 쉴 수 있는 의자가 있어서 잠시 쉬며 인불 스케치를 몇 장 했어요. 인물 드로잉하는 중에 '65세 푸른색 옷을 입은 분을 찾습니다'는 방송이 여러 번 나오는 것을 들으며 마음이 어두워졌어요. 

I visited Starfield Goyang located at Goyang city, Gyeonggi province, north of Seoul. I could arrive at by 10 minutes walk from Samsong subway station. Across the street big buildings were under construction. But most of the scenery seemed like a countryside still. There the mall was opened last month after the successful running of Starfield Hanam in Hanam city. It spans 365,000 square meters. This time I couldn't see all the spots such as children's Toy Kingdom Play or Fun City(family entertainment center, bowling), etc. Because there was small market PM Market I entered in. Grocery stores are familiar always.  There I drew a young man who was shouting 'Please have a piece of sweet banana!' I put my sketch sheet on the cart. It was very useful. After I finished I showed it to him. He was very glad to see and took a photo of it. People like to see sketching and envy of it. Sketching their daily lives in common environment may give chance to look them with fresh feelings.

캠퍼스내 수경원과 광혜원이 있던 옛터 자리에서 가을햇살 따사로운 하루  2점의 그림을 그리며 옛과 오늘의 사람들의 모습, 마음의 형태를 생각해보게 되는 뜻있는 하루 였습니다.

Urban Sketch in Yonsei University

  Yonsei University is not far from my house.
  Normally l was just passed by, but last Saturday
  l went there to draw first.
  There were not many people because it was weekend.
  The weather was still hot and a little humid
   but its okay compared to last summer.
   I sat down under the big tree looking for the some shelters
   but ants and mosques made last ride ㅠㅠ
   Anyway l draw hard and appreciated member's work.
