at A/S center
I went to A/S center of Philips located near Gunja station for repairing hair trimmer which I had bought on 1998. While waiting for it to be mended I sketched the goods on shelves such as irons, hair drier, hair curling iron... I could watch some drama on TV set. I felt happy to be able to use it again. The engineer said that I could use it for 4-5 years more by changing the batteries this time. (12.5 x 19.5 cm, pen, pencil, felt tip pen)

The Seoul Children's Grand Park is most suitable place to sketch various subjects, such as animals and people or diverse buildings surrounded by greens. Last Saturday was comparatively clear weather, so we had a pleasant sketch time with enthusiastic work all day long. We are looking forward to join with new comers. Glad to see you!

East Grand gate from car
I had to go to the Samyook Hospital located at Chungryang-ri due to the stomachache of my son. The hospital offers medical services on sunday by the principle of their religion 'The Seventh Day Adventist church'. Even though it's sunday the traffic was terrible. The roads were restricted for the marathon runners. We're caught in car over 20 minutes. I had to sketch the scenery. Luckily I could draw the East Grand Gate on the road. Children's grand park doodles
Thank you so much for the members of Urban Sketchers to let me join the group today.
The zoo was full of excitement bursting out of children, their hyper parents, and happy young couples. The diverse group of visiting homo sapiens complete the list of zoo animals.
Please excuse my pencil marks, I tried to upload the original doodle from the location rather than redraw, to abide the Sketchers rule as a nice new comer!

March sketchcrawl at Children's Grand Park
monkey
Today 9 sketchers participated in. It was warm with yellow dust in wind a little. But the zoo was good for sketching animal including elephant, lion, tiger, puma, and bear. Some liked to draw flowers in botanic garden. After having lunch in park we went to Sejong Univ for sketching more. After finishing the crawl we shared all the drawings and discussed for the coming exhibitions. Thank you all the participants, especially new comers, Kim Hye-jin, Eom Soo-ryeo, and her boy friend. Hope to see you all in next world wide sketchcrawl at Cheongryangri Station!

tourist at Inchon Int'l Airport
Yesterday my daughter left Seoul to Germany after 10 days' stay at home. Though she checked in for boarding I was there till the takeoff and sketched a woman with her bags. Confirming the plane's departure I left the airport. I could sleep well after receiving her call 'Arrived well, mom' 11 hours later.
