Do you like blue color?

There is a striking building shaped like a container with real blue color. 

It's cool! 

Just enjoy  these urban sketching with us, especially you love using blue pigment. 

Blue was the color of loneliness and sadness for Van Gogh and Rotrec and it was the color of freedom in the french revolution. 

What does blue color  mean to you?

I concentrated on expressing vivid and impressive color in these two works.

When it comes to me,the color blue stands for intensity.

커먼그라운드 쇼핑센타는 컨테이너 박스 모양으로 된 

유니크한 건물로  파랑색이 한눈에 띕니다.

특히 파랑색을 좋아하시는 분들은 꼭 가보세요.

파란색은  고흐와 로트렉에게는 쓸쓸함과 외로움의 색입니다.

프랑스 혁명에서는 파랑은 자유를 나타내는 색입니다.

여러분에게 파란 색은 어떤 의미인가요?

저는 이번 작품에서

파랑색이  선명하고 인상에 남을 수 있게 그리려고 시도했습니다.

저에게 파랑은 강렬함을 의미합니다.

Comm - on grounds was a unique container buildings. Blue containers piled up and helped create a sense of realism and gave me a fun to sketches. After finishing the sketch, I drew more pictures. This is where I want to go again and draw.

It was a fine weather, not rainy or not hot too much, even cloudy from time to time. The blue complex building layered by lots of containers, which attracts so many tourists and citizens especially young people. The ground was convenient for us to be able to sit on benches with long tables and big shade canopies here and there. Restaurants and shops located in and out of the building led by steps and bridge. The total space might be not large but the blue color gave exotic mood and seemed to be loved by young ones for taking nice photos. If the area had been planted with ginkgo or maple tress the total color in autumn would have looked so great with the blue container walls, which I felt sorry a little. We had an on-the-spot show at 4 pm. Thanks!

오늘 날씨기 스케치하기에 아주 나쁘지 않았어요. 다행히 커먼 그라운드 마당에 그늘막과 긴 탁자가 놓여있어서 여러 분들이 앉아 편히 스케치를 하셨습니다. 물론 여기 저기 흩어져서 땡볕에서 그리신 분들도 계셨구요. 수고 많으셨습니다. 이국적인 색상의 건물 구조로 잠시 외국 분위기를 느끼면서 그림을 그렸어요. 가을에는 어떤 분위기일지 한번 다시 가보고 싶다는 생각이 듭니다.

자양동에서

오늘은 건국대학교가 있는 자양동에서 스케치 하였습니다. Common Ground는 쇼핑 몰 입니다. 쇼핑을 온 사람들도 많았지만 그냥 놀러온 사람들도 많은 것으로 보였습니다. 건물의 외장이 독특하였기 때문이라고 생각 합니다. 무더운 날씨지만 여러분들과 함께 즐겁게 스케치 하였습니다.

Today I sketched at Jayang-dong where Keonguk University is . Common Ground is a shopping mall. There were a lot of people who came to shopping, but there seemed to be a lot of people who came to play. I think that the exterior of the building was unique. It was a hot weather, but I sketched it happily with Seoul urban sketchers.

안녕하세요~

어제 탑골 미술관을 방문하면서 마침 큐레이터 선생님을 만니 뵐 수 있었습니다.
선생님께서 작가 분들께서 작품 목록을 보내실 때에
작가명, 제목(길어도 됨), 제작 연도, 재료, 크기'를 첨부해 주시기 바란다고 하셨어요.
그리고 홍보물(현수막, 안내물)에 쓰일 사진은 가급적 해상도가 높았으면 좋겠다고 하셨습니다.

***홍보물에 쓰일 작품 한장 사진은 7월 31일까지 보내 주시기 바랍니다. ***
***전시 작품들의 리스트는 8월 7일(월요일)까지 보내 주셔야 합니다. ***
***전시작품의 리스트가 확정되신 분은 7월 31일까지 홍보물 사진을 포함하여 전시 작품 리스트를 함께 보내주시면 됩니다. ***

혹시 직장일로 9일 오후 2시에 가져 오시지 못할 경우에 큐레이터 선생님과 통화하시고 상의 하시면 9일 전날에라도 수납해 주시겠다고 하셨습니다.
그리고 두번의 워크샵에 몇 분이나 참석하시는지도 물어보셨고 가능하면 많이 와주셨으면 하십니다.

더운 여름에 작품 제작에 수고하시는 회원 여러분들께도 감사드립니다.

Hi sketchers,
I met the curator at the gallery yesterday. She asked us to send the list of the works to exhibit including "artist name, title of the work, year when you made the work, materials, size" for captioning till August 7th. And she said that the one photo with high quality for the promotion should be delivered till July 31st.
