In a successive hot day season I went to the park for walking and sketching. But the breeze blowing through the big trees made it easy and pleasant. Because it's holiday season for kindergarten and middle & high schools the park was quiet and good for sketching. These days people look so fashionable. What's needed was just to catch them at once on the spot regardless of results.

Kookmin University(Bugak campus) is a private university located in Jeongneung-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Surrounded by the Bukhansan National Park, Kookmin University boasts a clean and green environment complimented by the most up-to-date educational facilities. There are colorful sceneries of natural landscape harmonized with various campus building clusters.

Last Saturday, the weather was so hot and sultry that I can't help sketching with washing my face in cold water many times. In spite of high discomfort index, I was absored in drawing diverse sceneries with satisfaction.

YH Lee, KW Jung and I had a sketching tour at Kookmin University located at Jeongneung-dong, Seoul. It was so hot and humid. But the campus buildings with green leaves of big trees and the Bughansan Mountain was very beautiful. In the large playing field young boys and kids were playing balls.  After we finished some sketches and had lunch we moved to the Myoungwon Folk House.  The atmosphere with Korean traditional style buildings made us feel like visiting again later.

Pyeongchang-dong is located at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain in Seoul. It has long been considered as the village for the high society of Korea. Not only a number of luxurious and high guarded villas, but also well-known temples and high-class cultural facilities including Gana Art Gallery are nestled under the hill of the Mountain. Last Saturday, I sketched such colorful sceneries here and there with Seoul sketchers in a comfortable atmosphere.
