 그림을 다 찍진 못했지만
대표로 작고 귀여운 박수신 선생님의 작품들 ㅎㅎ

보기좋게 걸린 그림을 보고 모두들 만족하는 모습들입니다 (ㅇㅈ?오ㅇㅈ!)

식사하러 가는중에 표정들이 솨라있네요 

     그림을 걸어놓고 나니 너무 멋집니다.

더운 날씨에 디피를 하시느라 고생하신 선생님들 모두 수고 하셨습니다.

Days later, from Aug. 10 to Aug. 25, Seoul Urban Sketchers will have the 6th exhibition invited by the Topgoal Art Center. The gallery is located in the first floor of the Senior Welfare Center of Seoul(서울노인복지센터) in Jongno district of Seoul. The title of the exhibit will be "My Merry Jongno" symbolizing the location "Jongno" district. In this exhibit 14 sketchers will participate in.
The welfare center runs kinds of classes for the seniors and the users in lunch time amount to 2800 to 3000. I visited there from time to time for sketching having delicious lunch and juice and tea at cafe run by senior female members. For the coming exhibit I sketched more to introduce the activities and the features of the building. Though the center opened on April 2001 the increasing users show how much the programs held for the senior people have been necessary. And the gallery was opened on May 2013. It's very impressive that lots of male senior than female frequent to the building compared to the other welfare centers. Program and location may be some reasons. Sketching these ones many senior members showed interest in sketching and liked sketches.

최근에 종로 그림 전시를 앞두고 탑 미술관이 속해 있는 서울노인복지센타를 방문하여 이모저모를 그린 스케치 모음입니다. 훈훈한 분위기 속에 다양한 프로그램을 즐기는 어르신들이 이번 전시회에 많은 관심을 보여주셔서 좋은 결실을 맺기를 기대합니다.

The first royal palace of Korea "Gyeongbokgung"

Sitting at the Gyeongbokgung  palace-the first royal palace of Chosun Dynasty 1392~1910- stairs ,
 I took a look at the numerous tourists who walked  through the Gwanghawmun - the main gate of Gyeongbokgung and I drew a sketch this landscape .
It was the first time to draw places where many people were passing by and I felt something inside of me was changing.
The view of Gwanghwamun - the main gate of this palace  -  resembles our history, which is regarded as a failure to modernize.
This place  shows to be modernized in the past without intermediate processes.
and  a contrasting  view of the past and contemporary  architectures.
It was very dramatic landscape and I imagined a king who was  from the  Chosun Dynasty era and he  was surprised when he  just got up in the morning  by seeing this scenery .

경복궁 안 계단에 앉아
광화문을 바라보며 그렸습니다.

광화문 너머로 보이는 풍경이
경복궁과 대조적으로  매우 현대적입니다.
근대화에 실패했다고 평가받는 우리 역사처럼
과거에서  근대를 생략하고 바로 현대로 넘어온
드라마틱한 풍경이 인상적이어서 그려보았습니다.


잠시 조선의 왕이 아침에 눈을  떴을 때
이 풍경을 보게 된다면 어떤 기분일까 생각해 봅니다.
타임머신을 타고 온다면 이런 느낌이 아닐까하면서
상상으로 SF 영화의 한 장면을 찍어봅니다.

서울 종로구 경운동에 위치한 서울노인복지센터내의 탑골 미술관에서 "즐거운 나의 종로"라는 제목으로 초대전을 열어 주셨습니다.

Once Again Gwanghwamun

Today, I made a sketch in the lobby with the help of someone who helped manage the building. There was quite cool. Though it was hot outside, I did not envy the hotel inside the building. I enjoyed the pleasures of such profusion today. I feel like I've found a hideout. There was a fine view and conditions for sketching. It seems like this is the charm of urban sketches.
(오늘은 빌딩 관리하시는 분 도움으로 로비에서 시원하게 스케치를 했다. 밖은 뜨거웠지만 빌딩안은 호텔 부럽지 않았다. 이런 호사를 누리는 재미도 오늘 알았다. 아지트 한 곳을 발견한 기분이다.
스케치 하기에 알맞은 조망,조건이 있고 이런 재미가 어반스케치의 묘미인거 같다.)

삼청동 4차원 카페

 

서울어반스케쳐스 초대전 개최를 축하 드립니다.

전시 소식을 들었을 때 가급적이면 참가하고 싶었지만

부지런히 참여하지 못해서 함께하지 못할 것 같네요.

지난번에 삼청동 4차원 카페에서 어반스케치한 그림 올립니다.

매주 토요일에 미니 콘서트가 열리는

삼청동에 있는 작은 카페 입니다.

다름 아니라 제가 지금 그곳에서 개인전을 진행하고 있거든요. 

갤럭시 노트로 그린 "모바일 드로잉 전시회" 입니다. 

제목 : 갤럭시 노트로 그리다.

일정 : 17년 7월 29일(토)~8월 11일(금)

장소 : 삼청동 사차원 카페 (삼청동 파출소 바로 뒷편)

차주 금요일까지 전시를 진행하니

삼청동을 방문하시는 분들이 계시면

한번쯤 구경해 보시는 것도 좋을 듯 합니다^^

금일(8월 4일) 오후에 큐레이터 선생님으로 부터 전시회 명칭이 다음과 같이 확정되었음을 통지 받았습니다.

탑골 미술관 서울어반스케쳐스 초대전 "즐거운 나의 종로"

최종 안내물에서의 디자인은 지금은 확정되지 않았으나 문자는 위의 내용이 될 것입니다.

제 6회 전시회라는 내용은 서울어반스케쳐스의 간략한 소개글에 들어 갈 예정입니다.

One piece at the Burger King, Jongno District Office branch

I dropped in Burger King located at Susong-dong for having beverage. This time I was caught by the colorful contrast between the red color lamps and the blue dust layer of the building which was under construction at Gongpyeong redeveloping area. Compared to the roasting hot weather it was a paradise inside. I framed one piece for the coming exhibition, which was drawn in this branch with different direction. We can see that the inside structure of the shops keeps changing from time to time. So I learnt that I needed to draw on that time I was there because the scenery which I could see might disappear later, maybe never for the owner could hide the walls for the economical interest. Hope you to capture on the spot at the very time you see!

오늘도 굽는 날씨더군요. 점심 후 들른 버거킹 2층에서 평소에 그리던 수송동 풍경이 아닌 공평동, 인사동쪽을 바라 보았어요. 매장 내의 붉은 등과 멀리 보이는 공평동 재개발 지역에서 건설중인 빌딩의 푸른 방진막이 눈길을 끌었습니다. 급히 한장 했어요. 도시는 늘 변화하기에 보일 때에 그려야 하는 것을 경험으로 알게 되었습니다. 그것은 안과 밖이 따로 없더군요. 지난 번에 들른 두타 빌딩은 전에 보이던 13층 고객상담실에서 보이는 창을 제외하고는 디디피를 볼 수 있었던 여러 층의 커다란 창이 매장으로 가려졌더군요. 방문객은 그 내려다 보이는 풍광이 매력적이어서 밥 먹으러 가기도 했는데 기업은 이윤 창출이 우선이었던듯 싶습니다.

In the hot Gwanghwamun

Gwanghwamun seems to be boiling. The service plaza at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts was cool, but Gwanghwamun Square was hot. I sat in the shade believing in the wind and started sketching, but I was sitting in the sun when I realized. But The laughter of the children made me feel better. Sometimes I think it would be nice to enjoy the season without filtering.
(광화문은 끓고 있는거 같다 세종문화회관에 있는 서비스플라자는 시원했지만 광화문 광장은 뜨거웠다 바람을 믿고 그늘막에 앉아 스케치를 시작했지만 정신 차리고 보니 햇빛속에 앉아 있었다. 그러나 아이들의 웃음소리에 기분은 좋아졌다 가끔은 계절을 여과없이 느껴보는것도 좋은거 같다)
