Creative Sketch Workshop at Dasom Gallery (2), July 2nd, 2011

We finished Creative Sketch Workshop (2) today. 19 participants including kids and adults joined and enjoyed sketching in and out of the library on a hot and humid Saturday, July 2nd, 2011.  We and the staffs of the gallery were surprised at their sincere attitudes toward sketching on the spot. Needless to say the experiences for two days meant a lot for all. Several of them promised to join the sketching on Sketchcrawls. We might be able to say that we achieved our purposes to show our works to the citizens and to make them have conficence about sketching on the spot for the first time in their lives.
Many thanks for all the participants with love, the staffs of gallery, and Seoul Urban Sketchers!!!

Creative Sketch Workshop at Dasom Gallery (1), July 1st, 2011

During Exhibition we held a Creative sketch workshop at the gallery. 15 sketchers-to-be participated in. YH Lee lectured how to understand and to begin sketching for an hour. After that participants began to sketch in and out of the library for next hour. After finishing sketching we hung them on the wall and took a photo. What a valuable experience for both of us it was! We'll hold the second workshop tomorrow before we end the exhibit on coming Sunday. Hope many sketchers-to-be to enjoy sketching itself! Thank you all!!!

yesterday, preparation for the opening of the first exhibition

We gathered for the preparation of the exhibition at the Dasom Gallery of Songpa Library.
Hanging works we were so happy and pleased how we harvested to that much.
We were encouraged meeting the visitors who came to the library.
We're sure that the exhibits will be successful in many points.
We'll keep sketching for the development of each sketcher,
supporting each other and hoping many beginners to join us.
Thank you all participants!
