Today I sketched at the Sungkyunkwan University, Myungryundong. There were many subjects to sketch including Munmyo Shrine(Confucian shrine) built in 1398. Hope to sketch there together later.

at Joonggye-bondong 104 village, Seoul

Entering the village I went to the restaurant which opened very today. To gather customers and advertise its opening was there a show performed by singing-begger performer. People were enjoying by his comic gags and dance. I sketched him after having lunch at that restaurant. The village is said to be receveloped soon. I've plan to go there again before the demolishment begins. The village was beautiful surrounded with woods and hills.

sketches while walking Namsan Circuit Road

32 x 44 cm
How exciting to find nice views for sketching in the center of Seoul! Walked from the middle level of Namsan Circuit Road down to Namdaemun(South Grand Gate). Hope to sketch all together next month there! Though I've been living in Seoul over 50 years I'm surprised at finding the hidden places here and there. Very thrilling like a treasure-hunting game!

sketchcrawl at Doogsum Resort, Han River

What a wonderful scenery it was! Cloudy weather added some points on the riverscape. Sketchers were fascinated by the picturesque scenes formed by bridge, overbridges, new buildings, beautiful lawn, and people full of energy on the open flea market held on the ground. After sketching and having lunch at the nice restaurant 'Soman' located inside the so-called 'Looper' exhibition building, we went to the appointed frame shop and decided each frame and cost. Thanks all for participating and cooperating for the successful exhibitions!
