9월21일 토요일 고양시에 있는 중남미 문화원에서 스케치하였다.
이국적인 남미의 문화를 접할 수 있어서 매우 흥미로운시간~

Last Saturday, it was a fine autumn weather to sketch despite the typhoon forecast. Seoul urban sketches gathered at the Latin American Cultural Center-Museum in Goyang City nearby Seoul. Many visitors interested in foreign culture appreciated Latin American history, art, religion and customs, and other attractive works of exotic culture. The elegant red-brick buildings, museum, art gallery and religion exhibition hall combined with outdoor sculpture parks and Mayan murals to brighten the atmosphere of the cultural center.

While sketching the various forms of pretty and majestic buildings, the inside of the exhibition hall and traditional costumes, I thanked the founder of the Latin American Cultural Center. I'm lucky to be able to sketch as much as I like, experiencing various exotic cultures at the museum near where I live.

고양시민이 된지도 어느덧 5년인데 고양시에 아직 모르는 면면이 많습니다

중남미 문화원이라는 이런 이국적인 곳을 서울 어반 스케쳐스 모임 덕분에 

알게 되어 무척 재미있는 경험이었습니다.

마침 다음 달 스페인으로 출국을 앞두고 있는데 남미 문화를 살짝이나마 

미리 맛볼 수 있었습니다

요즘 그림을 그릴 마음의 여유가 없어서(시간적 여유는 사실 어느정도 있는데요..)

많이 놓고 있었는데 오랜만에 온전히 그림만 그리며 보내는 좋은 시간이었습니다

싱가포르에서 크로키 한것도 두어점 함께 올립니다

일 때문에 짧게 가는 싱가포르 일정이라 짬이 별로 없어서

거의 학회에서 그린 스케치나 공항이랑 기내에서그린것 뿐이네요

무스타파 센터(인도인 마을 주변 엄청 큰 시장) 앞 

호커센터(여러 식당venue에서 음식을 주문하면

자리로 가져다주거나 가지고 와서 먹는 시스템으로 우리의 푸드코트와 유사합니다)

창이 공항에서 귀국 비행기 기다리며

기내에서 작은 공책에 스케치하고 

태블릿pc로 그 사진을 찍고 그 위에 채색해봤는데 재밌었습니다

Latin America Cultural Museum - My first urban sketch outing

It was my first time joining Seoul Urban Sketchers. We met at  Latin America Cultral Museum in Koyang city. 
Though it was my second time visiting the museum, the whole area seemed to be completely new.
Sitting down in one spot  and observing the scene for more than two hours as I sketch, I thought as if I truly owned the space and time.
On the first glimpse you might think the picture doesn't show much of latin american culture,
but if you zoom in enough you would see a 'taco' sign in the middle and the cross on t he brick wall-dominant religion in South America.
Sharing sketches of the members was the highlight  of the day.  Every single one had its own unique spirit.

제게는 첫 어반스케치 모임이 중남미문화원에서 있었습니다. 예전에 한 번 방문했던 적이 있는 곳인데 처음 와본 것처럼 낯설었어요.
스케치북에 담길 나무, 담장, 꽃, 바닥, 하늘 등을 두어 시간 바라보며 삐뚤하게 스케치하고 색을 입히면 비로소 그곳에서의 시간과 장소가 영원히 내것이 되는 것 같았습니다.
중간에 타코와 커피 간판이 작게 있는데, 저 뒤로 가면 간단하게 커피와 케세디아를 먹을 수 있어서 너무 좋았습니다.
회원분들의 그림을 보는 것이 모임의 하아라이트. 단정하고 경쾌하고 화려하고 꼼꼼하고 세련되고 투박하고 조심스럽기도 한 우리의 모든 성격들을 담고 있어요.

2019년 10월 모임 안내

다음 달 모임 안내 드립니다.

일시 : 2019년 10월 26일 (토요일), 오전 10:30 - 오후 4:00
장소 : 청계천 오간수교 주변과 DDP(Dongdaemun Design Plaza)
모이는 곳 : 오간수교에서 모이고 그림 감상은 DDP 어울림 광장에서 하겠습니다.

동대문 주변은 우리의 삶이 살아 숨쉬는 장소입니다. 명동, 종로와 다른 곳이지요. 그런가 하면 DDP라는 현대적인 건물도 자리 잡고 있어 다양한 스케치를 해 볼 수 있는 멋진 장소라고 생각합니다. DDP 의 살림터 입구에는 예쁜 푸드 트럭이 오후 늦게 개장하여 그림거리로 좋을 듯합니다.

동대문역 (1호선) 1번 출구로 나오시면 동대문 신발 상가 A동이 나옵니다. 출구 오른쪽에 오간수교가 있고 왼쪽으로는 오래된 건물과 음식점들이 포진해 있으니 곳곳의 골목도 방문해 보시기 바랍니다.

지난 9월 2일에 잠시 출구에 앉아 그렸습니다. 워낙 혼잡한 곳이지만 아마도 주말에는 더할 것입니다. 시월의 마지막 토요일에 해도짧아질 것이라 오후 4시에 감상회를 갖기로 합니다. 관심있으신 분들의 용기있는 동참 바랍니다.

               Yesterday was Seoul Urban Sketchers' regular meeting day
               The sky was covered with clouds due to the
               coming typhoon,but didn't have the sign of rain
               so, i kind of let my guard down.
               I guessed the cloudy weather was better to draw
               Because we didn't have to wander to search for the shade.
               Latin Museum was already beginning to fall and
               I felt a little melancholy when the leaves change color.
               Anyway the mood was so quiet i felt free
               It made me feel like I'm in some exotic place .

It was a very lucky day by fine weather beyond my worrying about the typhoon Tapah. The Latin American Cultural Center-Museum was beautiful as it always has been. Being there without doing anything was just a pleasant healing. Meeting sketchers and sharing talks was another additional joy. Thank you all the participants for joining us!

다가오는 태풍 타파로 폭우가 쏟아지지나 않을까 염려했으나 다행히 적당히 흐린 날씨로 그림그리기에는 좋았습니다. 여전히 아름답고 고즈녁한 분위기안에 간직된 남미의 풍물로 그저 그 안에 있기만 해도 마음이 편안해졌습니다. 화우님들과 이야기도 나누고 그림도 그리고 즐겁기만 했구요. 그런 값진 공간을 이루어 오신 이복형 원장님 부부께 감사드립니다. 

새로 오신 분들 반가왔고 자주 뵙기 바랍니다. 

Bicycle vagabond on my own

어느덧 50일째.

동해에서 배타고 블라디보스톡에서 시베리아열차타고 모스크바, 상트페테르부르크.

상트페테르부르크에서 자전거타고 에스토니아, 라트비아, 리투아니아 거쳐 

폴란드 남부 비알리스토크까지 1400km. 앞으로도 갈길이 멉니다.

어디로 갈지는 나도 모릅니다.🤣

고맙게도 나의 애마 "은실이"와 짐꾼"래보"가 나를 잘 따라줍니다.

또 뵐게요.

9월 모임 날짜 변경 안내

안녕하세요?

어느덧 가을이 시작된 듯합니다. 그런데 가을 태풍이 세력을 키우고 올라온다는 예보입니다. 특히 주말에 전국을 강타한다니 안전 문제와 그림그리는 환경이 염려되어 부득이하게 9월 7일로 예정했던 모임 날짜를 셋째 토요일인 2019년 9월 21일로 변경합니다.

장소 : 고양시 중남미 문화원
일시 : 2019년 9월 21일(토), 오전 10:30 - 오후 4:30

오시는 길 : 지하철 3호선 삼송역 하차 (6번 출구)
   → 마을버스053, 033번 승차 또는
      통일로 방면에서 333, 774, 790번 승차
   → 고양동 시장앞 하차
   → 건너편 CU 편의점 골목 도보 10분 정도
   → 문화원 도착

추석 잘 지내시고 건강한 모습으로 모임에서 뵙겠습니다.

I enjoyed watching baseball games at the Gocheok Sky Dome for three days from Aug. 19 to Aug. 21, 2019. The games between Goyang Heroes and NC of KBO Futures League were held there. Games were played from 2 pm. People didn't come much though visitors could use seats with table for free. Inside was really cool. And the players were very good. Sometimes small parts of audiences shouted cheering the players. I tried to practice the changing poses of them. It was really hard to capture the pitchers' nice features. I'd like to go there often both enjoying games and drawing their wonderful scenes. 

지난 3일간 고척 스카이 돔에서 히어로즈와 엔씨간의 경기를 보았어요. 2군 경기라고 하지만 기량은 1군 못지 않았다고 생각됩니다. 오히려 야구자체에만 집중하며 성실하게 경기에 임한다고 생각되었구요. 2군 경기라 그런지 아니면 2시 경기라 그런지 무료 입장에 테이블 좌석을 사용할 수 있는 최적의 조건임에도 관중은 너무나 없었구요. 에어컨 바람이 솔솔 불어오는지 실내는 시원해서 나중에는 졸기도 했구요.  움직이는 선수의 모습을 잡아 그리는 것이 심히 어려웠고 셋째 날에는 투수와 대기 선수의 동작을 많이 연습했습니다. 앞으로도 종종 가서 경기도 즐기고 드로잉도 많이 해보려고 합니다.
