new comers Kim Yong-mun and Jaman(?) from China

new comer Florence from Belgium who joined us for sketching during her visiting Korea
We met her on the way going to clime the art park at the bridge where she was sketching. She came late a little to miss our group and kept sketching alone!
We appreciated her works which were drawn at Sokcho city, Baekdam temple and so on.

By the kind and considerate guidance of Architect Choi Seung-won we could enjoy all the sculptures installed in forest.

Bukchon Hanok Village where traditional Korean houses called hanok form a group, which encompasses Gahoe-dong, Hwa-dong, Jae-dong, and Samcheong-dong in Jongno-gu. This village has been a traditional residential district for more than 600 years of the history of Seoul. The day for the 35th World Wide SketchCrawl, we faced up to an unexpected difficulty. The stormy weather went on all day. In spite of the wet conditions, we had a pleasant sketch time enjoying cultural walks around Bukchon Village. Bukchon particularly, is my birthplace where I was born. While sketching some familiar sceneries lasted a long time, many memories of my childhood were brought back in rapid succession.

Today was the worst day as far as I remembered in my outdoor painting. Windy, rainy, cold.... But new comer, Lee Mi-na, made us delighted. She came from Daegu city located nearly 300 km far from Seoul by KTX train to participate in this sketchcrawl in spite of bad weather. We were glad to meet her and hoped to come as often as she could. She would send her nice drawings with colored pencil for posting. We couldn't sketch much though the Bukchon Hanok Village was very beautiful in Spring. Welcome and thank you all!
