Weekend..

This weekend is that it tries to draw a picture to pass the time.
That time very happy.

'Urban Hive' building at Kangnam-ku, Seoul

Last year I sketched this building curiously. It's said that the number of the circles are over 3800 with 1 meter in diameter. The building was designed by Kim In-chul and finished on July, 2008. This kind of new buildings changes the feature of Seoul day by day.

at the stores of Insa-dong, Seoul

Sketched at the Samick Musical Instrument store located in Chongro 2-ga. The black hat used for the traditional farmers' folk band after harvest usually and Haegum(Korean fiddle) were hung. And kinds of drums were there.

In another store I found the wood ring used for piercing the nostrill of cow, and then pulling the cow for cultivating the soil at countryside. The cow is a symbol of wealth. So people like to hang it at house wishing to be rich and praying for the protecting of ancestor. Sometimes cow means their previous parents at dreams. The wood wild geese mean the affection between the married couple. So Korean people like to have them at home for the happy marriage life.
