Deoksu Palace and Pai Chai school in Jeongdong

USK Seoul in Deoksu Palace and Baejae Jeondong, Seoul, South Korea with Nancy from BC, Canada.

Jeonggwanheon: The meaning of this name is "the place to watch the garden silently"
So, we need to be quiet in this place, but kids and students were unspeakably chatty as usual.

Pai Chai School Museum: It was the first modernized school established by Henry Gerhart Appenzeller in 1885. It's been more than 100 years and hope this building remain safely forever.

The Korea Independent Newspaper site in Pai Chai school
I googled it, however, it may not be the exact site of the building.
The Korean Independent News paper established in 1864 (~1951) by JaePil Seo.

Due to the bad right hand wrist, I had to use oil pastel most of the time. Anyway it was quite pleasure to draw together and especially special guest Nancy from BC, CANADA. Hope to see you again someday!

조은비(Margaret) 입니다. 손목부상으로 제대로 그림을 그리지 못했네요.
그래도 언제나 그리기는 즐겁습니다. 다음 모임때 뵙겠습니다.^^
