I sketched this painting at Namsam Korean Style House.

first: The last Korean empress' parents home. She is Sunjeonghyo Empress(1894~1966)

second: That style is the Korean kitchen of old and a part of the last Korean empress' parents home. It looked many red peppers, soybeans, and rice bowl, vessels on set the table.

마무리가 좀 덜 된 듯해 마음에 들진 않았으나 그냥 올렸습니다.

Nodle island and Senamter church

퇴근길 정체되는 동안 버스에서 대강 스케치하고 집에서 칠했습니다.
노들섬 사이로 멀리 새남터성당이 어렴풋이 보입니다.
풀과 나무를 뜻하는 새나무터에서 유래 되었으며 조선 초기에는 군인들이 무술을 연마하던 연무장이었으나, 조선 후기부터는 사육신이 이곳에서 처형되었으며, 그후에도 김대건신부, 외국의 주문모신부 그리고 이름없는 수많은 천주교신자들이 순교한 슬픈 역사의 현장이기도 합니다!

예전의 그림을 다시 그려보았습니다

오후 3시.
울 집 강아지 복실이의 수술시간이었으며 그 날의 첫 식사.
내겐 의미있던 송편 두 조각입니다.
수술하는 동안 동물병원 옆 coffee shop에서 그렸습니다.
불안함을 조금이라도 해소하려 붓은 들었지만 그리고 있는 내내 하늘에 기대고 있었습니다.

The wall of Chang Gyeong Palace

Chang gyeong Palace was built king seongjong of the Joseon Dynasty for King's mother in 1484. This Palace looked out on the east and smaller than other Palace, because of mother's palace
.창경궁은 조선시대의 성종때 대비전을 위해 만들어진 궁궐입니다. 정조대왕이 오랜 기간 이 궁궐에서 보내기도 했지만 대비궁으로 지어진 탓에 다른 궁궐과 달리 동향이며 구성도 소략한 감이 있습니다. 일제 강점기에는 궁을 창경원으로 격하시켜 동물원을 궁에 두기도 했습니다. 지금은 다시 옛 이름인 창경궁을 되찾고 동물원도 없엔 우리의 중요한 문화유산입니다.

실제 이 맘때쯤, 궁 안쪽에서 뿜어내는 초록빛은 이 그림보다 훨씬 아름답습니다.퇴근길에 원남 사거리에서 본 풍광입니다.

This sketch is the back wall Jongmyo Shrine an Royal Ancestral Shrine in Cho-Son Dynasty.This way'll disappear after a few years and plan to set restoration of Palace land. This project is nice .

창경궁 담길에서 본 종묘 뒷담입니다. 날씨도 괜찮아 걷기도 할 겸 퇴근길에 스케치해 보았습니다. 몇 년 뒤면 복원되어 원래의 모습을 갖추게 될 거라니 참 멋질 것 같습니다.

I went to a snack bar. Naengmyeon(Korean cold noodles), Ramen(instant noodles) , Kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) Gimbap .. Because hungry, these looked really delicious, too.

Lately I sketched in this place. Here is a redevelopment zone.
Apartments are now being built all over the place at heukseokdong.
The contrast between light and shade of two buildings
made to think on my mind.
