at a butcher shop located in Dongdaemun, Seoul

Today I went to Dongdaemun area. There I saw these bones at a butcher shop/restaurant named "Kangbagsa's meat department & Restaurant". While I was sketching the inside and wrapped bones in showcase the butcher showed interest and posed for me after knowing that I was sketching him. After finishing the sketching he came out to talk with me for a while.

The location for the 26th Sketchcrawl in Seoul was fixed Jongno Area.
We will start at Gwanghwamun Square. We will visit Jogyesa Temple, Insadong and Tapgol Park.

안녕하세요.

지난 주에 두 번째 코스인 남산공원을 미리 가 보았었는데요..
그림을 그리며 걷기에는 코스가 너무 길기도 하고 한옥마을에 도착하기 전까지는 원거리의 풍경이 대부분이어서 조금 지루한 코스가 되지않을까 하는 걱정이 들었습니다.
그래서 다른 스케쳐분들과 의논 끝에 종로 쪽으로 다음 스케치크롤 장소를 정하기로 했습니다.
광화문광장에서 시작하여 조계사, 인사동을 지나 종로3가 탑골공원까지의 코스로 하려합니다.

I sketched this one from the car window at Yeongundong of Chongro-gu, Seoul.

We can see these chairs and small stores all around our villages.

Occasionally I visit the historic site in several places. These sketches were drawn at Seorung and Jogyesa Temple in last year. I sketched out the architectural forms without watercolor.

I sketched this one last year at Nagwon building near Insadong, Seoul. I looked down this scene from the rooftop. I love to sketch around the Chongro streets where I feel the essence of Seoul, Korea.
