It was a very fine day. Seoul station is the main station for railroad. Though we had been sketching at the station we would be never tired of sketching there by moving people and changing surrounding scenery through all the seasons. Even more the Seoul Station Overpass built on 1970 was changed into a new tourist attraction this year. We took a course for sketching in the afternoon. All the bridge was full of citizens and tourists. All around urban scenery was satisfactory with Autumn fine weather. Every participant agreed that we should visit here regularly for sketching. Thank you all!

시월의 마지막 토요일은 스케치하기에 정말 좋은 날씨였어요. 서울역에서 오전 스케치를 마치고 그동안 미뤄두었던 서울로 7017로 향했습니다. 올라가기 전에 올려다 보면서 한장 그렸구요. 그런데 아쉬웠던 것은 구역사 옆 카페앞 계단에서 그리려는데 보안요원이 몇번이나 와서 계단에 물을 뿌리며 여기 앉지 말라고 하시더군요. 노숙자가 앉게 된다구요. 문화재 구역이라구요. 그래서 제가 물었어요. "도대체 문화재 관리구역에서 문화 행위를 못하게 하는 것은 말이 되느냐구요" 그랬더니 "그건 나한테 묻지 말라"고 하더군요. 아직도 우리는 멀었다하는 실망감이 또 왔어요. 전에 강남 교보빌딩안에서 그리려다 쫓겨나서 앞에서 그리려니 그 또한 교보 구역이라고 밀어낼때도 그랬어요. 아마도 몇십년 후에는 좀 나아지겠지요. 

서울로 7017 위에서의 그림 환경은 좋았어요. 공기도 그닥 나쁘지 않았던 것같았구요.

새로 오신 윤선생님 반가왔습니다. 컨디션 매우 안좋으심에도 참여하신 백선생님께도 진정 감사드립니다. 중독되면 어쩔 수가 없는가 봅니다.  감사합니다!

경의선 숲길

홍대 먹자골목에서 연남동으로 이어진 경의선 숲길에 어반스케치 다녀왔어요
폐철길을 걷어 내고 시민들의 쉼터로 다시 태어났더군요

 

처음으로 가 본 운현궁

 

 

운현궁을 처음으로 가봤습니다.

다른 궁처럼 화려하진 않았지만 고즈넉하니 소박한 아름다움이 있는 궁이였습니다.

다시 한번 방문하고 싶은 곳이였습니다.

우리나라 다른 궁도 스케치하고 싶네요.

날씨도 좋았고 함께 그리니 더 좋았습니다.

 

 

 

 

운현궁 스케치

               가을궁은 고즈녁하고 편안하다.
               툇마루에 앉아 그림을 그리는 내 모습조차도
               다른이의 시선엔 풍경의 일부가 된다.
               그림을 그리며...차한잔, 정담 한보따리는 덤이다.

               푸르른 소나무사이.오래된 감나무의 주렁주렁 매달린
               감이 '가을이 슬프지 않은 이유'를 말해준다

               조은 계절에 '하고픈 것을 할수있는 행복'을 누린 하루!!

Incheon wharf scenery

It was a good chance to go here and there for sketching around Chuseok holiday season. I found that I need to look for new places because the society keeps changing repeating demolishing and constructing. Kimpo Hamsang Park Cultural Depot Park and First Garden were new to me. Incheon wharf is always my favorite sketching place. Thanks to the 10 holidays I could enjoy short trip every day.

지난 추석 연휴에 이곳 저곳을 다니며 스케치여행을 했어요. 김포 함상 공원도 군함의 내부를 볼수있어서 좋았고 월드컵 경기장 근처에 석유비축기지를 문화비축기지로 탈바꿈한 것도 이채로왔으며 몇달 전에 개장했다는 파주의 펴스트 가든도 신선했습니다. 긴 휴가가 힘든 분들도 많으시더군요. 택기 기사님들은 일일 납입금을 못채워서 애를 태우시더군요. 손님이 없어서...다 좋을 수는 없구나 해서 택시를 자주 탔습니다.

지난 위크샵후 운현궁이 너무 좋아서 또다시 스케치를 하러 갔다.궁을 그리면서 새삼 우리나라의 궁궐의 매력에 빠졌다.
평일이지만 사람들은 많았고 ..여기저기서 셔터 소리가 들렸다.
사람들이 빠져 나간 늦은 시간에는 감나무가  고요하고 쓸쓸한 궁을 지키고 있겠지..

다시찾은 운현궁

지난번  운현궁에서의    아쉬움으로  다시  가게  되었습니다
가을이  되어서인지  더 운취가  있더군요
할머니 두분의  도란도란   얘기 나누시는 모습이   고궁과   참 닮아있다는 
생각이 들었습니다
더할수없이  좋은 날씨,  친구들과의 수다까지  행복한  스케치데이 였습니다

Seoul Urban Sketch in Yeouinaru

          Last Saturday,  S.U.S was held in Yeouinaru

          The river side is somewhere  similar but the

          otherside of the river varies according to the area

          Yeouinaru located in Yeoudo,I could see 63 building

          and lots of another buildings.

          Specifically we got permission and went in yachts harbour.

          We drew on the plastic board, it's like the boat, it's very hard

          to draw on shaky boat

          The vitality of young people remind me my youth

          It's so lovely day and I had a good time!

          처음 가 보는 여의나루. 한강변은 어디나 비슷하지만 다른쪽은 지역에 따라

          다양한 풍경을 선물한다

          여의나루는 여의도에 있는지라 63빌딩과 여러건물들을 주변에 볼 수 있어

          좋은 그림소재를 제공해 주었다

          요트 선착장에 허락을 받고 들어가 흔들리는 배에 탄 느낌으로

          그림을 그리는  새로운 경험도 재미있었다

          그 곳 젊은이들의 활기찬 모습에 나의 청춘이 오버랩ㅎ ㅎ

          따스한 햇살과 강바람을 친구삼아

          가을정취에 젖어본 하~루    ..

Last Saturday, the weather was so fine with clear sky for sketching. Seoul urban sketchers met at Yeouinaru(여의나루) in the Yeouido Park, which is famous for nature, culture and sports for all citizens and visitors.Especially, Yeouinaru is well known as a riverside family park where Han River's water taxis and Cruise Terminal(크루즈 터미널) locates. Tourists and visitors can enjoying the leisurely view of Seoul's modern skyline and the surrounding sceneries such as Han River bridges, colorful ships, boats and Cruise Terminal crowded with people. 

At first, the familiar Eland Cruise caught my eyes, because I sketched the quay scenes for the 45th World Wide SketchCrawl at this location three years ago. I was attracted to the vivid riverside scenes and absorbed in sketching around Yeouinaru like for the first time. 

After sketching various scenes around Cruise, I drew portraits of two people near me on 

the spot, one is an urban sketcher and the other is a member of a water board club. And I presented the sketches to them as a memorial of Yeouinaru sketching.

3년전의 스케치크롤 감흥이 되살아나는 멋진 하루였습니니다.
