< purmoe resort >

 < purmoe resort >

I feel pleasantness from natures.
The pleasantness heals it from stress to carry.
I thank you to God giving nature and freedom.

< an alley >

< an alley >
An alley in my town , Yeomni-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul

It is late the evening.
stop at lanes going to houses, I was lyrical, and an alley feeling.
I took out a sketchbook, and I started for drawing a picture.
Charm this which is odd has sketching to picture at night.

two sketches indoor & outdoor at Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul

corner of figure drawing session room, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
pencil, watercolor, A 4

Xi Gallery (Model house of GS Engineering & Construction) building located at Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Whenever I passed this building on my way going to the figure drawing session I felt like to sketch once. Today I did. The building won the President's Award on 2007 in Aarchitecture Design.

                                                                  sepia conte, A 4

Seoul is a concentrated city that has both a long history and a modern society. The cityscape of downtown Seoul has rapidly changed in the late 20th century due to robust economic growth over the past 50 years. In the heart of Seoul surrounded with a number of the high-rise buildings, a few of the elegant western style buildings have well preserved as the modern cultural heritage. All in all, these buildings were completed in the early 20th century and located at financial and business districts, such as Myeongdong, Namdaemunno, and so on.
I sketched the precious historical buildings in the crowded streets, looking back on the last century.

at Children's Grand Park, Neung-dong

parasols at convenience shop in the park

animal cages in a row
pencil, watercolor, 33 x 23 cm

It's very hot these days. I go to park or temple in Seoul for rest and sketching. Park was crowded with students, kids from kidergartens, and children with their parents. It was sunny and breezing. I enjoyed all the environment there sketching and walking all the park.

sketch in Sejong University at the time of Spring festival

sepia conte, watercolor, A 4

Campus was full with tents under which tables and plastic stools were laid. In some tents students were selling snacks and accessaries. After classes the festival might be open in full-fledged.scale. I sketched the above one in an empty tent in cool condition though the outside was very hot. The far building with big flag is students' hall built newly. Being young is always envied by all old people. I prayed for their happy future.
