오늘 당번 서면서 방문객이 뜸할 때에는 실내 풍경을 그렸어요. 오후에 인터넷 지역방송 CNM 에서 '우리 동네 최고' 프로그램에 남산 도서관을 다루는 편에 갤러리도 포함시켜서 우리 모임의 성격에 대해 안내를 했구요. 오늘도 모임에 참여하려는 분들이 계셨습니다. 

(I sketched inside sceneries of the gallery while keeping and guiding at the gallery. In the afternoon I talked about our activities and purposes to the reporter of CNM Internet TV, which was scheduled by the library for the program of introducing the local villages.. They said the program will be broadcasted three weeks later.)

휴대폰으로 좀 찍어보았어요. 그 또한 연습이 필요한 것같습니다. 오늘도 많은 분들 관람하셨구요. 관심있는 분들의 문의도 있었습니다. 당번들께서 수고 많으십니다. 

I took some video with my mobile phone. I think it needed lots of practice too. Many visitors appreciated works with interest. Among them there were several artists who hoped to participate in urban sketching. Welcome!

Unhyeongung Palace,designated as Historic Site No. 257 of the City of Seoul, is located in Uni-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. There is the palace that King Gojong lived in before he acceded to the throne. The palace was built in 1864 and in 1869 more buildings were added. Unlike the other main palaces Changdeokgung and Gyeongbokgung,Unhyeongung is simple in design and use of colour for a palace. 

Yesterday It was so cold and windy for sketch, but snow-covered traditional buildings harmonized with the surroundings looked very beautiful. I sketched these elegant and lovely buildings at Unhyeongung Palace,thougtless of the time. After sketching at Unhyeongung Palace, on my way home, I dropped in the Nagweon Musical Instruments Arcade and drew some sketches in a melodious atmosphere.

She offered two cups of coffee thanking for us to draw her shop, about which we thanked so much too. I presented my name card to her. 

오늘 지난 며칠간의 추운 날씨에 비해서 맑고 포근해서 스케치하기 아주 좋았습니다. 시내에 고즈녁하게 자리잡고 있는 운현궁을 너무 늦게 방문해서 대원군께 죄송스러울 정도였어요. 크기도 아담해서 여러 건물들이 좋은 각도를 연출해주면서 흰 눈과 오래된 나무 색이 참으로 아름다왔습니다.  운현궁에 해가 져서 근처의 낙원 상가로 걸음을 옮겨 훈훈하고 활기찬 악기 상가에서 몇장 더 스케치했어요. 2층의 경비아저씨의 책상을 독차지하고 편히 그리는 동안 마침 손님맞이에 분주하신 여주인께서 따따한 커피까지 제공해주셔서 즐거움을 더했습니다. 오늘 처음으로 손에 쥔 예쁘고 멋진 명함을 두 장이나 뿌렸답니다. 모두에게 감사합니다. 

The Unhyeongung(운현궁) locates at Unni-dong had been the residence of Lee Ha-eung. He was the father of the 26th king of Lee Dynasty. It locates across Insa-dong, the famous traditional cultural street where many tourists visit to buy souvenir and enjoy Korean traditional culture. Unhyeongung is near the bigger palaces such as Kyeongbokgung, Changdukgung, and Changyeongung. We found the place was very beautiful with Korean traditional style buildings. 어제 시간이 있어서 서울역에 갔어요. 푸드코트에서 점심을 먹었지만 워낙 손님이 많아서 자리 차지하고 앉아 있기는 어려웠고 로비로 나왔습니다. 그래도 바깥의 강추위보다는 그릴만 했구요. 마침 앉을 만한 곳도 있어서 앉아서 여러장 그렸지요. 다 그리고 마치는 순간 비둘기가 날라왔어요. 미리 왔으면 그려넣었을 걸하고 아쉬워했답니다.
(Yesterday I had to spend some hours at Seoul Station. After having lunch at food court and drawing some I came out to the lobby because the food court was so busy with customers at lunch time. I found some good place to sit and could be able to sketch some. When I finished a pigeon flied into the building. I felt sorry that I couldn't draw it in sketch.)
