연일 계속되는 무더위에 주말아침도 역시나 심상치 않은 태양이였습니다...

한낮의 기온35도를 넘나드는 무더위 아래서도

나무그늘과 얼음물에 의존하면서 스케치하면서 보낸 시간들이

그림 볼때마다 떠오를 듯합니다.

한낮의 뜨거운 태양도 이겨내는 열정을 가진

모든 스케쳐스분들에게 박수를 보내드립니다..

 

 

Seoul Central Mosque located in Itaewan

             Yesterday ,the weather was extremely hot .

             But our aspirations were hotter than the heat .

             I was already prepared for the heat, l rather thanked 

             in the shade of the trees and breeze. 

             The Isalamic Mosque was unique and exotic, 

             I was so sorry couldn't to drew from various anglers ,

             because it was so hot I couldn't move here and there .

             Actually the weather was another touch task,

             but the works of members was good enough to reward .

             Thank you for all the members attending ~~^^

              수퍼더위도 스케쳘스의 열정을 꺽지 못했어요 ㅎ ㅎ

              모두들 얼음물을 나눠마시며 열작들 하시는 모습이 경이롭기까지 했네요

              더위로 그늘을 떠나지못해 모스크의 다각적인 모습을 그리지 못해 

              아쉽긴 했지만 이열치열의 묘미를 느낀하루였어요

              유선생님 .그리고 같이하신 모든 분들에게 감사드립니다 ^^

스케치크롤(영국스케치모임)과 같은 날 스케치하고
서로 공유하는 모임이었습니다.
뜨거운 날씨에도 참가하셔서 열정적으로 그리신 모든 분들
수고많으셨습니다.
이미 활동하고 계신 분들은 알고 계시지만
새로 오신 분들은 잘 모르실 것 같아  다시 한 번 글 올립니다.

Seoul Central Mosque looked great with its characteristic Islamic design. It was my third time to visit there. But every time I could find different scene to draw. It may be caused by different seasons and visitors from all nations.

Yesterday the temperature was 36.9 degrees at Seoul. Cold water kept us cool down all the while sketching. Passion of the sketchers to capture the beautiful building might have been rewarded by their excellent works. We were all the winners against the terrible heat. Thank you all!

최고점을 찍어가는 요즈음의 날씨에 과연 몇분이나 나오실 것인가 했습니다. 새로 오신 분들을 포함하여 열분이 모여서 그린 날이었어요. 일당백이라고나 할까요. 수백, 천여명의 문하 제자가 있는 여타의 고승과 달리 조주 선사의 문하에는 수도 제자가 7명을 넘지 않았다는 이야기를 들었어요. 그러나 그 한분 한분이 일당백이었다고 합니다. 어제의 그 더위에 아무런 냉방없이 나무 그늘만 의지하고 그림 그리시는 스케쳐들을 보며 그 생각을 했습니다. 그 투지라면 못할 것이 없겠다는 마음이 들었습니다. 아름다운 성전 건물만큼이나 감동적인 모습이었습니다. 새로 오신 분들도 자주 뵙기 바랍니다. 감사합니다.

I had to wait for the bus for a while to go to Seoul central Mosque earlier in morning. 

In the meantime, I drew this sketch at the coffee shop called Rottie burn in Wonju city,Korea.

고체 수채물감이 녹아 내리는 날

엽서 사이즈에 그려서ㅍ 너무작은

대체로 다 작아요 ㅎㅎ!

안녕하세요. 저는 최현주입니다. 

김제에서 올라와 서울 어반스케치에 참여했던 사람인데
그림을 올리지 못하다 이제야 올려봅니다. 

얼마전 서울에 올라왔는데 일이 토요일까지 하다보니
참여도 어려운 실정입니다.
빨간날만 쉬는 관계로 혹시 평일 빨간난 모임을 하게되면
참여하겠습니다 ㅋ

It is a very hot and rainy season. So I try to draw whom I meet anywhere. I keep pencil(6B), pen, one color crayon pencil(dark blue one this time), and brush pen sometimes basically. I often finish drawing with pencil for the value after beginning with pencil. And oil pastels are useful to carry and not to be muddy contrary to the dry soft pastels. Most people can't be distinguished by the clothing they wear but the religious people could be with their special attirement. I see so many people out of home. It gives a valuable chance to understand them through drawing without sharing a word.

요즘 무더위와 장맛비로 길에서 그림 그리기가 어겹습니다. 나름 어느 곳에서든 쉽게 그릴 수 있는 인물 그리기는 계속하려고 합니다. 우연히 눈에 띄는 복장의 종교인들을 그리게 되어 인물 드로잉으로 모아 올립니다. 재료는 늘 지니고 다니는 단순한 도구를 썼구요. 

혹서기에 건강 유의하시고 즐거운 여름 보내시기 바랍니다.

Korea Institute of Registered Architects (KIRA: 대한건축사협회) runs lots of hobby clubs such as climbing, music, photography, golf, billiard, and so on. I've participated in billiard club since last year. Last week on Jun. 27, there was a friendly match of billiard club members. Though I'm not good at playing game, I usually like to watch international billiards games very much. On that day I was knocked out of the tournament in the 1st round because most of participants' scores were higher than mine. But I could have enough time to sketch every scene I want to draw. Additionally, many members surrounded me and were pleased seeing the sketches on the spot. They cheered me and asked to upload them on the website. Everybody had exciting moments in games and delicious Chinese dishes during the break time. I had a wonderful time enjoying sketches and billiards with many familiar architects.

지난 주, 6월 27일 "대한건축사협회" 당구동호회 모임이 있었습니다.

학창시절 후 수십년 끊고 있다가 최근에 초심으로 다시 시작하지만~

1라운드에서 탈락한 덕분에 스케치를 맘껏 하니 전화위복입니다.

한 장소, 많은 시간, 많은 소재들과 호흡하며 스케치하는 "해피 데이"였습니다~~
