어제 세종대에서 신축중인 학생회관을 그리고 있는데 뒤를 돌아다보니 한 여학생이 사진을 찍고 있었어요. 사진찍어도 되냐길래 찍으면 한장 이메일로 보내달라고 했어요. 제가 그림 그리는 것을 여러번 봤다며 세종대를 그려주어서 고맙다고 인사까지 했지요. 건물이 완공되어 가는 과정중의 모습이 완공후보다 오히려 다양하고 흥미롭습니다. 날이 추웠지만 물감이 얼을 정도는 아니라서 할만했어요.
(While my drawing this picture one girl student of Sejong University was taking picture of me. She asked me to take photos. I answered 'My pleasure!'. Instead I asked to send one of them via e-mail. She promised. I told about our website of course on which I posted many drawings made in that university. She was so pleased to hear that. Building under construction shows many attractive shapes with heavy equipments. It was cold but not to the degree of the water on paper to be frozen. )

공원안은 추위로 인적이 드물었지만 식물원 안을 훈훈해서 모처럼 선인장을 잘 말려가면서 그렸어요. 선인장이 마침 꽃망울을 내밀고 있어서 한결 귀여웠고요. 선인장의 자유로운 생겨남은 항상 매력적입니다. 그려면서도 균형을 유지하는 신기함도 있고요.

(By the cold the park was unfrequented. After drawing the botanical garden I entered it for warmth. Inside was so warm that I could paint the cactus drying the paper well. The shapes of the branches spread at their will made a picturesque scene always. But I think the branches would balance for themselves not to fall down.)

at concert on Dec.5, 2009

Yesterday I went to a concert held at Cultural Center of Eunpyong District office. Orchestra Members' family and friends came including their kids. Though I couldn't not concentrate on hearing music only drawing was another pleasure. I used sepia chalk holder.

경로당 색칠

그저께 그린 그림을 색칠해 보았습니다
아이가 낼 시험이라 옆에 앉아 있다가 색칠이나 해 볼까 했더니
아이가 한다는 말이 " 엄마 그 건물 무슨 색이었는지 기억하실 수 있어요?" 합니다
그 건물과 상관없이 멋대로 칠할 거라 하니 의아하게 봅니다 ^^
나무 그늘이 인상적인 것 말고는 생각나는 색이 없어서 제멋대로 칠을 해 보았습니다
