비가오는 느낌을 표현하지 못해서 아쉽지만 스케치와 채색에 느낌을 조금 배운것 같아 기분좋은 하루입니다.

After lunch, I dropped in for tea at McDonald's located in Jongno-2ga, Seoul. While drinking a coffee, in the seat facing me many people were talking with somebody in different poses. 

I sketched the figures immediately before leaving their seats.

가을에 흠뻑 젖어들다..

지난주말 양수리에 있는 두물머리에 다녀왔습니다.

요즘 바쁜하루하루를 보내고 있었는데 오랜만에 여유를 느낀 하루였습니다.

두물머리가 경치가 좋다는 얘기는 많이들었지만 역시 명불허전!

가을에 흠뻑 젖어들었습니다.

마음이 편안해지는 어느 기분 좋은 날입니다..

Autumn Sports Festival at Jamsil Auxiliary Stadium, Seoul

Last weekend, 2013 Sports Festival of Seoul Institute of Registered Architects(SIRA) was held in Jamsil Auxiliary Stadium located in Songpa-gu,Seoul. It was so fine and the skies were clear, numbers of SIRA architects including me enjoyed pleasant time all day, playing football and foot volleyball, having a singing contest, entertaining performance, and so on. 

I sketched some colorful sceneries from place to place, walking about the stadium covered with beautiful green grass.

2013 서울 건축사 한마음 체육대회는 바쁜 일상을 벗어나 모처럼 한데 모여 호연지기를 키우는 단합 대회였습니다. 유니폼을 받았지만 스케치를 하기 바빠서 대선배들도 뛰는 경기를 바라 볼 수 밖에 없었으나, 스케치를 보고 좋아하는 동료들과 함께 푸르른 가을을 만끽한 축제였습니다. 건축가들이 스포츠와 더불어 스케치와 한마음이 된 날이었습니다.

Hankook Bank & Sungnyemun

This fall, the sky is very blue. Call the center of Seoul, went to sketch on the front gate. Antique feel of the Hankook Bank building and a sophisticated sculpture fountain is as if you would in Europe. Namdaemun was burnt down in the fire and repair the other day and he had great splendour. Cultural heritage of the human race should always be handled carefully for your precious property. Being able to draw these things happy.

그림올리는게 너무 늦어져서 죄송합니다. ^^;;

회사일과 결혼준비 그리고 그림작업과 함께 신앙생활을 같이하는게 쉽지가 않네요. ㅎ

앞으로 좀더 부지런해져야 할것 같아요.

그래도 이렇게 그림을 그리고 나눌수 있어서 감사하고 행복한것 같습니다.

Yesterday I went to the Ahnsung city with the members of Outdoor Watercolor Artists' Group. The village looked beautiful. Some of old houses were changed into new modern houses. But the atmosphere with rice field, big trees and remained old houses made us recall the previous remembrance still. The pole with boxes and black connection lines for network or else caught my eye letting me what the world we became to live these days. Years ago I couldn't see such poles. I enjoyed the beauty of the countryside.

어제 모처럼 한국야외수채화가회 사생에 참석하여 안성 극락리에 다녀왔습니다. 예전에 알던 시골도 많이 달라셔 통신망으로 전국이 연결된지라 마을 입구에 많은 박스를 달고 있는 전봇대가 눈에 띄었어요. 큰나무와 군데 군데 남아있는 낡은 집, 논들이 옛 정서를 일깨워주었구요. 하루를 전원에서 즐겁게 지냈습니다.

One afternoon last week, the weather was clear before sunset, I climbed mountainside of Buckhansan National Park near my home after work. The climbing route, from Gugi-dong to Tangchundaesung, slopes gently and lots of spectacular sceneries made me feel refreshed. During the break while walking the route, I drew some beautiful scenes here and there rapidly before dark.

북한산은 서울 최고의 명산입니다. 아름다운 산봉우리들의 스카이라인과 실루엣을 즐기면서 일상의 피로를 씻고 건강도 챙기면서 힐링 스케치도 할 수 있지요. 사시사철의 변화무쌍한 운치를 느낄수 있는 북한산을 그리며 스케치는 항상 '말없는 스승'같다고 생각합니다.
