Sketches of Yonsei University

I graduated Yonsei University. Many places which I sketched reminded me of my youth. So many buildings are built and reconstructed but the core is not changed. It was much fun for me to draw the the places in my memory with other sketchers!

Yoon Dongju's momument with a poem. He was a alumnus of Yonsei University, and most beloved poet in Korea. He lived in Japanese colonial era and even his lyrical poems are read as resistace.

Statues in front of the college of theology is named Flame Tree which symbolise God's bless.

Lee Hanyol's hill. He was shot to death in front of the Gate in 1989. He was just a sophomore of Yonsei University. At that time, students resisted very severely aganst military dictatorship. His death ignited the change of the regime.
